Original army 3rd class merit badge for grenade throwing.
Finnish conscripts were awarded merit badges for their sporting skills during military training. Each skill had usually three basic classes and sometimes a master class for national or international success. These badges can sometimes be seen worn on field tunics during WW2.
This is a good condition bronze badge with a screw on the back for fastening. Backed with a piece of black wool so that the merit badge stands out better. Made by “Veljekset Sundqvist“.
