Finnish army wartime billhook.
The billhook is a traditional multitool in forestry. Similar in uses to a machete, it is a tool between a Puukko knife and an axe. It is best used for debranching trees. Finnish army issued 1 of these per infantry squad, at least in theory.
The blade is in good and usable shape. The shaft is original, but has been chipped at the bottom. It has also been poorly fastened with some nails. We suggest refastening it before use.
There are Billnäs manufacturer stamp with SA and P army property stamps on the blade handle.
