Original army 3rd class merit badge for orienteering.
Finnish conscripts were awarded merit badges for their sporting skills during military training. Each skill had usually three basic classes and sometimes a master class for national or international success. These badges can sometimes be seen worn on field tunics during WW2.
This is a good condition bronze badge with a screw on the back for fastening. there is a manufacturer stamp VELJEKSET SUNDQVIST, HELSINKI on the back of the badge and on the screw.
