Finnish Army m/36 Breeches for Officers from 1960.
These trousers are essentially 1960’s enlisted mens breeches, but in terms of Second World War, these are perhaps a bit more fitting for an officer.
Well worn, bruised and abused, but still in overall great condition. Made from cavalry twill wool with light grey cotton lining. Seat has been replaced and reinforced with similar material. Buttons on the fly are random period buttons. Has had purple branch piping, but it’s been cut off at the ends.
Stamped with SA-cartouche, VPu Int 60 manufacturers stamp as well as size stamp 48 B. There is also a size 46 written with a marker, meaning that these are probably a slightly smaller size in reality. 46 would be for a 165 cm to 170 cm tall man, with a waist of about 96 cm.
Overall a good “field piece” for an enlisted mens impression of an officers impression. See photos for details.
