Description

Original war-time 17 mm four-hole metal dish button.  These were used in a variety of Finnish items such as tunics, overcoats, bread bags etc.

These buttons are made of steel, aluminium, zinc and / or some grey metal alloy.

The buttons are used, so some have stains on them.

Price is for one button.

Buttons Per Tunic

For M/36 Tunic you need:

  • 6 large coat of arms buttons for the chest
  • 4 large coat of arms buttons for the pockets
  • 2 small coat of arms buttons for the shoulder boards

 

For M/36 Overcoat you need:

  • 12 large coat of arms buttons for the chest
  • 2 large coat of arms buttons for the back belt
  • 2 small coat of arms buttons for the shoulder boards
  • for enlisted men: 4 dish buttons for the back opening
  • for officers: 4 small coat of arms buttons for the back opening

 

For M/36 Summer Blouse you need:

  • 1 dish button for the collar
  • 6 dish buttons for the chest
  • 2 dish buttons or 2 small coat of arms buttons for the belt loops
  • 2 small coat of arms buttons for the shoulder boards
  • for enlisted men: 2 dish buttons for the breast pockets
  • for officers: 2 small buttons for the breast pockets
