Thick, heavy post war officer’s m/36 Overcoat.
While this overcoat does not have manufacturing stamps, it is a common 1950’s style overcoat, made for officers and cadre NCO’s. This particular one has beem in use by a Vääpeli (Staff Sergeant), as evidenced by the faint outlines of the rank tab on the cuffs. The epaulettes have insignia for Anti-Air Battery.
The tunic is typical pattern for officers, made out of darkish blue thick serge wool, making the coat fairly stiff and warm. The liner is artificial silk and covers the whole interior. Postwar grey m/36 buttons. Some wear and tear on the buttonholes from years of use, but otherwise in excellent condition. Roughly 100 cm chest circumference and is 114 cm long from the neck to the hem.
Overall an excellent base for a wartime officers impression.
