These are postwar m/36 Trousers, used by the Finnish military up until the late 60’s.
These trousers are essentially identical to wartime m/36 trousers – there’s no practical difference, except slightly better materials and worksmanship.
The trousers are made of a lightgrey plain twill wool, with greyish yellow liner and pockets. There’s replacement patches on the knees, but apart from that there’s nothing major damage. The two slanted front pockets and the rear pockets and the pocket watch pocket are in original condition. Inseam in the right leg has been poorly sewn with white thread, but that is easy to fix with a home sewing machine.
These are stamped SA Vpu Int 52, showing these were made in 1952. The size stamp is 54 A, so these are originally for a 168 cm to 1749 cm tall man with 94 cm waist.
