Original Soviet m-37 rifle ammunition pouch.
The Finnish Army confiscated a lot of Soviet ammunition pouches during Winter War and Continuation War. They can be seen used by Finns during the Continuation War.
This pouch is in good condition. The leather is supple. One of the lid rivets is missing but the stitching indicates it has been most likely repaired during the war. There is also a small tear on the other lid.
There are no Finnish markings on this pouch, but we still suspect it was used in Finland as it came from a Finnish collection. There are many identical pouches with Finnish Army property stamps.
