Description

Lotta Svärd membership collar badge, wartime production. Silver, like other metals was scarce during the war, so these wartime badges are made of nickel silver (German silver, alpacca, etc.) or nickel plated copper.

This membership badge was worn by every Lotta Svärd member on their collar.

This specific badge is in good condition, although the spike on the back has been replaced at some point. It is made out of nickel plated copper by Oy Osk.Lindroos Ab. The badge number is 143760.
