Description
Original wartime manufactured Finnish m/42 Field Bottle.
The bottle has a greyish brown wool cover with string closure. There is a sewn cotton strap and a snap fastener for attaching the bottle to the bread bag. On the bottle collar loop there is a leather strap on to which the cap and steel spring hook are fastened.
Everything is in good condition. The cover seems to be a bit weirdly shaped, maybe it has stretched or maybe it’s a manufacturing mistake.
There is a manufacturer stamp and an INT43 Army Intendant and year stamp on the cap. There is an Army property stamp SA on the collar.
