Description
Original prewar / wartime Finnish enlisted men national cockade.
This is a circular white-blue-white stamped steel cockade with two fastening spikes on the back. The cockade is roughly 20 mm in diameter.
This flat, simple cockade came into use in 1919 and continued to be used through all of WW2. During the Winter War and Continuation War period, this cockade type was used by both the EM and NCO’s.
We have divided these into two conditions:
Good condition ones have minor scratches mainly on the edges.
Fair condition ones have more scratches and paint chipping also on the center.
All cockades have both of the fastening spikes intact.
