Original prewar Finnish Army shoe polish tin from 1924.
This is a 11 cm diameter and 4 cm tall two-part friction fitted steel tin. This tin feels is empty, but we were unable to open it by hand and didn’t want to force it open. There is most likely some old shoe polish hardened between the lid. It should be fairly easy to open with some ingenuity.
There are some minor dents but the tin is in overall good condition. The tin has the army intendant’s stamp INT. followed with a slash and a year of manufacture 24.
