Description
Original Finnish signal corps lineman’s knife manufactured by Fiskars with original leather sheath.
The lineman’s knife was included in every lineman’s tool pouch. It was meant to be used for cutting signal wire and removing wire insulation. The blade is made very thick for this purpose. The sheath is dark brown leather and has a small belt loop.
The blade has some minor surface rust and is covered in cosmoline, but is in overall good condition. The sheath leather is soft and in great condition.
There is a FISKARS manufacturer stamp and a SUOMEN ARMEIJA army property stamp on the blade, although the latter is almost all ground off. The leather sheath also has the army property stamp SUOMEN ARMEIJA.
