Reproduction of the Finnish army national cockade. The flat, simple cockade came into use in 1919 and continued to be in use until the 90’s. First as a thin, metal cockade. After that as a plastic one and finally as a fabric cockade.
The simple flat cockade was firstly in use by EM and NCO, but later only by the EM. For the Winter War and Continuation period, this one is great for both the EM and NCO’s.
Tin plated brass cockade with Finnish national colors painted on the front side and two spikes on the back side for sticking it in hats. Roughly 2 cm in diameter. Made by one of the companies that used to make these back in the day, too!
